The Heritage Club
What is the Heritage Club?
The Heritage Club of Central Iowa, established in the spring of 2009, is a new opportunity for Planned Giving to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Iowa.
The Heritage Club exists nationwide as an association of friends of Boys and Girls Clubs. Like you, these people want to ensure the future needs of our nation's youth are met. They ensure this by including their local Boys & Girls Clubs in their estate plans. This planning might include a will, a charitable gift annuity, a trust arrangement, a real estate gift, or a life insurance policy.
This is a wonderful time to consider joining the Heritage Club of Central Iowa. You can be a part of this special opportunity by becoming a founding member.
What are the benefits of membership in The Heritage Club?
When you join The Heritage Club, Boys & Girls Clubs will thank you by providing you with:
- A publication on tax and estate planning.
- A personalized Heritage Club recognition plaque.
- A lapel pin that indicates your leadership in the mission to guarantee a strong and stable future for our nation's children.
- Quarterly publications that let you know how your support is helping to change young lives.
- Recognition in the BGCCI Annual Report and National Recognition in the Heritage Club Annual Report.
A Foundation for the Future
Boys & Girls Clubs offer positive alternatives to children who may be surrounded by negative influences, creating avenues for them to formulate and follow their dreams. Since 1963, the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Iowa have provided safe havens for young people, offering quality programs and critically important relationships with nurturing, reliable adults.
Boys & Girls Clubs give their members, ages 5 – 18, access to dedicated, trained professionals who can provide guidance in adopting healthy lifestyles and pursuing educational objectives. Most importantly, Boys & Girls Clubs equip youth with the skills to resolve conflicts peacefully, improve relationships in every aspect of their lives, and function as responsible citizens.
Your support through a planned gift will ensure that future generations of children in Iowa will have the opportunity to live successful lives in a safe, positive and caring environment.
More information about planned giving is available from our national organization, the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
