Levitt Club is one of five clubs in the U.S. that is designed within a new school building development. Levitt Club is for students K-5th grade.
Dance and various sports are some activities students enjoy. “Kids in the Kitchen” offers students ages 9-18 the opportunity to create fun, healthy snacks to share with their families. Our SMART girls program informs girls of self-esteem, developmental health, fitness and reproductive education/prevention. Students are also able to participate in Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. Reading Rangers partners with the Iowa DNR. Volunteers read various environmentally-themed books with 2nd-5th grade students. For every 20 pages the kids read, the Iowa DNR will plant a tree in one of Iowa’s forests.
**Power Hour takes place at all of our locations. It is one of our basic formats for academic programming and 1-2 hours a day are always set aside for academics. “Power Hour” is offered once daily during the school year, focusing on homework. During summer Club time, Power Hour is offered twice daily and teaches literacy and math competencies by using hands-on games and problem-solving activities. |
