CLUB PATHWAYS
Our Plan

For 60 years, Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Iowa has provided life-changing support for young people in our community. Today, we serve more than 1,500 registered members a year, but we know there are many more young people out there we can guide to great futures. We also know our young people are more likely to succeed if they start their Club journeys early and continue throughout their academic careers.
Club Pathways is our future vision of growth that will:
-
Complete four paths in Des Moines so that kids and teens can progress from elementary through high school with the Boys & Girls Clubs.
-
Nearly double the number of youth we serve.
-
Add three new Club sites and significantly expand two current Club sites.
Since launching our Club Pathways campaign, we have successfully opened our state-of-the-art Gregory & Suzie Glazer Burt, E.T. Meredith Jr. and Studebaker Boys & Girls Clubs, as well as expanded our McCombs Club. While we’ve made great strides to better serve our community, we are not done yet.
We are in the process of expanding our Ross Boys & Girls Club as well to help us continue to grow our four individualized paths, better serving Des Moines area youth from the moment they first walk through our doors until they graduate high school. Our end goal is to nearly double the number of youth served from the 1,700 served when our Club Pathways campaign launched to 3,300.
