CLUB MEMBERSHIP OPENS THE DOORS TO GREAT FUTURES

At Boys & Girls Clubs, we know there is no simple answer to success. It takes a community of like-minded people, a safe environment, high-quality programs and unique experiences to enable our youth to reach great futures.

A Boys & Girls Club membership is so much more than you may realize – a Club membership gives kids a safe place to learn, grow and thrive. Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Iowa Club membership provides a child with:

Environments that are safe, positive, and inclusive.
Relationships in which youth forge supportive, meaningful, and healthy connections with adults and peers.
Experiences that build upon their strengths, foster a sense of belonging and purpose, and provide opportunities to lead and be heard.
Life-enhancing programs that help youth advance in three key outcome areas: Academic Success, Good Character and Leadership, and Healthy Lifestyles.

Our Clubs are much more than a place to be after school and over the summer. It’s a place for youth to dance, express themselves, play sports, receive healthy meals and snacks every day, and get help solving a math problem or writing a resume. A place to learn, grow, lead and go further than they ever imagined.

Inspiring Leaders | $500+

Inspiring Leaders are individuals who make a gift of $500+ annually.

Providing adequate access to nutritious foods is critically important. At BGCCI, 100% of Club members qualify for free or reduced lunch. Youth facing food insecurity leads to other challenges: poor mental and overall health, increased school absences and increased behavioral problems. In conjunction with school provided meals, Club members receive three meals a day, including food for their families over the weekend.

The Inspiring Leaders Club provides one Club member daily meals and snacks for an entire year through annual gifts of $500 or more.

Creating Hope | $1,000+

The Creating Hope Club are individuals who make a gift of $1,000+ annually.

BGCCI is the leading advocate for Des Moines area youth because of your assistance. We offer substantive programming and a highly trained staff to address any and all needs of a child, help them recognize their full potential, and grow into healthy and thriving adults.

The Creating Hope Club provides field trips & transportation for one Club member for the entire year through annual gifts of $1,000 or more.

Building Futures | $2,500+

The Building Futures Club are individuals who make a gift of $2,500+ annually.

A Club membership opens the door to a great future for a deserving young person in our community. Every day when school is out, Club is open to provide a safe, supportive place for the youth. Caring staff mentors, meals and structured programming to build academic success, healthy lifestyles and good character are the vital services we can provide.

The Building Futures Club provides one child with a Club membership for an entire year through annual gifts of $2,500 or more.

Enhancing Lives | $10,000+

Individuals in our Enhancing Lives Club make a gift of $10,000+ annually.

For many Des Moines area youth, thriving in the world today requires support and nurturing outside of the family dynamic. With your Building Futures contribution, BGCCI provides a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where every child is welcome no matter their background or current situation.

The Enhancing Lives Club provides at least four youth with Club memberships for an entire year through annual gifts of $10,000 or more.

Breaking Barriers| $25,000+

Individuals in our Breaking Barriers Club make a gift of $25,000+ annually.

Each Club membership we can provide removes barriers to success, creates opportunities and ultimately paves the way for young people to break generational cycles of poverty and trauma. Club membership is life-changing for the youth we serve.

The Breaking Barriers Club provides at least ten youth with Club memberships for an entire year through annual gifts of $25,000 or more.
