Our Club kids and teens need caring adults to help them develop their character and leadership skills, learn how to live healthy lifestyles, find the path to a fulfilling career, and to learn the professional skills they need to succeed in life.

Individual Opportunities
As an individual volunteer, you can choose where you would like to help. You could volunteer wherever you are needed, assist with a specific program of interest, or bring your own special skill or talent to share with our Club members!

Small Group Opportunities -
2-15 Volunteers
Our group volunteer projects are ideal for corporate team-building experiences outside of the office. Company-sponsored volunteer activities are welcomed throughout the year at Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Iowa.

Large Group Opportunities - 15+ Volunteers
Volunteer groups of all sizes are welcomed, and experiences will be tailored to group needs and interests. The maximum group size varies per project, but generally, we cannot accommodate groups larger than 30. Please reach out to BGCCI directly at admin@bgcci.org.

To participate in our volunteering opportunities, all individuals must submit a background check to tcontreras@bgcci.org.
It costs Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Iowa $30 to run each background check. We ask that all individuals donate towards their background check to help cover the costs of onboarding. To donate, please mail checks to Tiffany Contreras with “background check” listed in the memo or visit our donations page.
